We kicked off the year with the continuation our Virtual Mentoring Program for Young Men. This Virtual Program connects with the mentees to help them navigate through life during these unprecedented times. This global mentoring experience has impacted the lives of thousands across more than thirty five countries whilst redefining the massive change that is possible through mentoring during the digital age.

We partnered with the CIAA Baltimore Youth Sports Clinic hosted at the Under Armour House in Baltimore, MD. NBA legends Earl Monroe, Bobby Dandridge and CIAA Commissioner Jacqie McWilliams sat down for a fireside chat with student athletes. Kids learned defense and offense concepts and discussed Mental Health Wellness.
We partnered with Girls Who Brunch in Baltimore. We were able to uplift and inspire 100 young girls with Brave Williams!
Steve & Marjory Harvey Foundation partnered with Musiq Soulchild for Music Soulchild Day to launch his initiative “Bring Music Back To Schools” at the Utopian Academy For The Arts. The interaction touched over 400 students and will be followed up with a music and animation curriculum taking place in the new music room.
We partnered again with the Next Step Education Foundation for the Spring 2022 Scholarship Symposium. This event is designed to guide high school students with tips and advice regarding the application process for post-secondary education scholarships.
The Spring 2022 College Readiness Boot Camp is a day of college preparation. Students and their parents participated in a circuit of mini-workshops designed to give college-bound families as much information as possible. These workshop sessions will covered the college preparatory journey, including college selection, major selection, college financing, test preparation, campus experience, and social & emotional well-being. There were over $30,000 worth of scholarships were awarded.
100 moms came together for a day of enrichment and inspiration. Sessions included financial literacy, home ownership, health & wellness and mindfulness. Special guests included author Zane, award winning producer and singer, Nicci Gilbert-Daniels, entrepreneur & author, Dr. Chantia Foster, love and dating guru, Dr. Stacii Jae Johnson and many others. These young moms were truly impacted by the inspirational and informational sessions offered.
The Harvey’s announce acquisition of the 1,500-acre Chick-fil-A Rock Ranch and plans for the Steve & Marjorie Harvey Legacy Ranch.

We partnered with Fund2Foundation and invited youth to the 2022 Restoration Retreat for an invigorating and impactful experience.
SMHF had the pleasure of supporting Usher’s New Look at their 2022 Disruptivator Summit! The 2022 Disruptivator Summit is the most comprehensive in the 23-year history of UNL, founded by musical artist and philanthropist Usher Raymond IV. The three-day conference, presented by Cisco, took place July 20-22 at Emory University. More than 220 students participated in UNL’s annual global youth conference, offering training, mentorship, and practical tools to help prepare them for future leadership roles.
The Steve & Marjorie Harvey Foundation is happy to support Rejoice In The Lord Ministries who served Emmanuel Baptist, a 184-year-old church in Freeport, Bahamas. The church is still devastated by hurricane Dorian 3 years after the disaster. Rejoice In The Lord Ministries is assisting in the reorganization and relaunching of the church’s programs, mission, and vision. We are happy to support their initiative to rebuild the community.

We welcomed over 100 sponsors and special guests to take part in this exciting weekend in Paradise! Special Guests included Prince Michael Jackson, Cedric the Entertainer and Prime Minister Davis. We were proud to be able to donate over $20,000 to non profit organizations in Nassau that promote wellness and entrepreneurship!
SMHF treated over 200 girls and their mothers to see The Woman King! “Empowering, Thrilling, Inspiring, and Beautiful” were some of the words the girls used to describe the movie.
We were elated to partner with 100 Girls of Code for this years Fall Stem Camp that was held at Rockdale Career Academy in Conyers, Ga. There were over 70 girls in attendance! There was an abundance of learning, teamwork, empowerment and understanding. The facilitators were Dr. Nettie B Engineering of Towers, Dr. Joy of JJ Steam did Biology by dissecting owl pellets, Ms. B facilitated coding Self Portraits and Ms. Madinah who introduced Cybersecurity to the girls. This event opened the girls eyes to the importance and possibilities of careers in S.T.E.M.
Our Chairman Steve Harvey received the “Man in the Mirror Award, from Prince Jackon on behalf of his Foundation, HealLA, for blessing so many people through his philanthropy at the Thriller40 Costume Party and Fundraiser.
We were elated to support the Supreme Family Foundation to help deliver meals to seniors in the community. We are happy to assist their Foundation as they seek to eradicate hunger in the community.

We were honored to do a toy giveaway for under-resourced children during the 2022 holiday season. The children were uplifted by this experience and grateful for all they received!
We partnered with Metro Boomin to host twenty-six mothers and their children for an on-field game opener experience at the Mercedes Benz Stadium for a remarkable, exciting, sporting event. This once in a lifetime experience blew our moms away! It also garnered an immense amount of attention on social media with over 1,000,000 impressions on the different websites and blogs.
SMHF had the pleasure to work with Fenwick Community Based Care to support children in Foster Care in Maryland. We exposed under-privileged children to a very personal brunch, showing them affection, they may not normally receive. The boys were surprised by the brand new Microsoft notebooks they received as an early Christmas gift.
Hosea Helps Food and Toy Drive – We love to give! We were so excited to support Hosea Helps Annual 2022 Christmas Food Distribution & Toy Giveaway. SMHF distributed tons of food and toys to those in need in Atlanta Georgia.
