“I came to the camp, and my life changed forever.” Kyler Franklin, a mentee at a Steve Harvey Mentoring Camp in 2011, surprised Steve Harvey at the Steve Harvey Golf Invitational to tell him thank you and share how the mentoring camp impacted his life. Kyler is now a minister and the founder of The Pop-Up Church in Los Angeles, where he gathers millennials together in non-traditional spaces to have church and worship God. He delivered a powerful and inspiring message to the young men at the closing ceremony of this year’s mentoring camp … “no matter what you’ve been through, take your setbacks and keep running your route!” We love to see the success of the young people who come thru our programs, blessed and grateful to have a positive impact on their lives!
