Marjorie Harvey Brightens Holiday Season for Youth with Celebrity Topgolf Toy Drive

In an effort to meet Marjorie Harvey’s goal of collecting #1KToys4Christmas, the Steve & Marjorie Harvey Foundation hosted a Toy Drive at Topgolf in Atlanta, uniting celebrities and the community to gather toys for underprivileged youth in the Metro Atlanta area. With a festive and generous atmosphere, participants enjoyed golfing, while contributing to a significant collection of gifts. The Harvey Foundation remains committed to youth empowerment, and using the power of community and collective action to make a positive impact.

Harvey Foundation hosts Inaugural Steve Harvey Bahamas Charity Golf Classic

The Steve & Marjorie Harvey Foundation (SMHF) hosted its first annual “Steve Harvey Bahamas Charity Golf Classic” in collaboration with The Atlantis at the Ocean Club Golf Course on Paradise Island, September 4th, 2022. It was a great success.

The event brought guests from sports, business, and the entertainment industry together to play golf in the Bahamas for a charitable cause. Special guests included Prince Jackson (son of Michael Jackson), Cedric The Entertainer, and actor Lyric Bent just to name a few. The Foundation also sponsored 8 local junior golfers to participate in the tournament who were also surprised with golf scholarships.

We are happy to share that this tournament raised over 40k for local charities and will become an annual event.

Golfers enjoyed a great time on the greens for a great cause at the Foundation’s 2-Day Golf Invitational Annual Fundraiser. Special Guests included comedian and actor Chris Tucker, NFL Hall of Famer Lawrence Taylor, Former NBA stars Dikembe Mutombo and Vernon Maxwell, PGA Champion Jim Thorpe, World Long Drive competitor Troy Mullins, author and activist Tamika Mallory, entertainer reporter A. J. Calloway and many more!
