We partnered with Pastor Jamal Bryant and the New Birth Church to help thousands of under-privileged Atlanta children during the Christmas holiday. Many of the children we helped were in foster care or had incarcerated parents and were also dealing with the painful effects of COVID-19.

The AROSE Foundation’s mission is to provide underserved youth in trauma-prone communities with learning opportunities, support, and resources for post-secondary success. During the Sand & Soul Festival, we honored two individuals with the 2019 Harvey’s Hero Award. Attorney Benjamin Crump for his social and political activism and fight for civil rights in the community … and Sheila Johnson-Smith for her providing a safe place for the orphaned boys and girls of Freeport, Bahamas at the Grand Bahama Children’s Home for over 40 years. We also pledged a $75,000 donation to help rebuild the children’s home after the destruction caused by Hurrican Dorian.
