Next Step Education Continues to Empower Futures with 10th Annual College & Career Fair

In a significant milestone, the Next Step Education Foundation recently hosted its 10th Annual College, Career and Services Fair, led by their Executive Director, Brannon Jones. In the 10-year history, this event has seen over 200 students receive on-the-spot college acceptances and scholarship offers totaling over $6.5 million! This initiative, backed by the unwavering support of the Steve & Marjorie Harvey Foundation, speaks volumes about the concerted efforts towards aiding students in their crucial high school to college transition.

Metro Boomin Partners with Harvey Foundation for Single Mothers Initiative

Musiq Soulchild partners with Harvey Foundation to Bring Music Back to the Music Room in Schools

It was our pleasure to unveil the first “Musiq 🎵 Room“ in Atlanta at the Utopian Academy for the Arts as part of a Musiq Soulchild initiative to bring music back into the classrooms. Approximately 200 Students joined Musiq in their newly opened “Black Box Theatre” for an in-depth discussion on Music, Musicianship and the importance of having a music curriculum back in schools.

Harvey Foundation Surprises 25 Non-Profit Organizations with Grant$

Our chairman, Steve Harvey, is adamant about paying it forward. This year we surprised non-profits from all over the United States with grants to further their programs. These grant recipients work in communities locally, nationally, and internationally. The recipients included: Next Step Education, Fabulous on Purpose, Beyond the Game, The B-Relyt Organization, Silence the Shame, Careers in Sports, Suits for Seniors, Figure Skating in Harlem, Vontelle Eyewear, Women in Need, Save a Girl, Save a World, Ambassadors of Change, My Friends House, Utopian Academy, and Higher Ground to name a few. We are blessed to help them continue to service their communities. Thank you all for your commitment to our communities.

Pastor Jamal Bryant and New Birth Church hosts Holiday Drive-Up Toy Giveaway

We partnered with Pastor Jamal Bryant and the New Birth Church to help thousands of under-privileged Atlanta children during the Christmas holiday. Many of the children we helped were in foster care or had incarcerated parents and were also dealing with the painful effects of COVID-19.

AROSE Foundation hosts Winter Family Giveaway in Flint, Michigan for 200+ Students and their Families

We were pleased to partner with AROSE Foundation for the Flint Southwestern Winter Family Giveaway providing over 200 students and families in need with winter kits, including daily essentials and PPE supplies. The AROSE Foundation’s mission is to provide underserved youth in trauma-prone communities with learning opportunities, support, and resources for post-secondary success. We are proud to serve the Southwestern Academy and Flint, Michigan community.
